INSIDER TIPS ON MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR NEXT CLIMBING SESSION

Rock Climbing

Our mission is to share our passion for climbing with you - whether you are a seasoned climber or brand new to the sport of rock climbing, there is something for nearly everyone! As a veteran employee, I’ve seen a lot over the years - here is my personal list of insider’s tips to ensure your visit is amazing.

  • Watch and Learn - If it is your first time visiting  or if it has been a couple years since you last climbed with us, we ask that you fill out a waiver and watch an informative orientation video before you start climbing.

Tip: To be more efficient with your climbing time, we recommend that you complete the waiver and watch our orientation video online prior to coming to the gym.

  • Become a Belay Master - If you have already experienced the unparalleled joy and serious responsibility of belaying for your fellow climbing partner, you’ll have to show off your belay style on your first visit.

Tip: One of our kind staff members  will ask to demonstrate these safety skills with minimal assistance at the beginning of your visit

  • We love to talk climbing! If you see a staff member walking around the climbing floor or behind the desk, they are here for you! Have a question about a route’s sequence, your upcoming lead climb/belay check, or you need to report a safety concern, these folks are here for your climbing related questions and needs.

Tip: Feel free to also ask us about gear and local climbing crags too!

Here’s what you might not expect, but what makes me love my job so much….our friendly and knowledgeable staff are ready to welcome you to our climbing community, discover what your climbing goals are for the day, educate you on the climbing, facility, and programming options and guide you through the whole process. We hope your experience with us inspires you to discover your passion for climbing.
